The aim of the RUSSIAN NATIONAL SOCIETY of ATHEROSCLEROSIS is:

- bringing together the efforts of specialists, involved in the study of atherosclerosis, and solving of current problems of prevention, diagnosis and therapy of atherosclerosis and its complications;

-the dissemination of modern scientific achievements among the medical community and population, aimed to lower cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in Russia.
